Back in 2002 we set about finding a place to share and spend time with family and friends, where we could soak up the unique spirit and character of this beautiful part of Tuscany and Umbria.

We couldn't resist the incredibly beautiful setting of Casa Colcello or the honey coloured stone walls smoothed and weathered by nature over the years. Its special aura of calm and peacefulness amongst natural surroundings, ancient terracotta floor tiles and rich red roof tiles patterned with lichens and mosses - the farmhouse was almost in ruins, but had an abundance of potential and incredible uninterrupted veiws. We were hooked!

During renovations the emphasis has always been on conserving the origninal atmosphere and the historic style of the house without neglecting comfort and modern standards.
